Grievance Redressal Policy

Our College, NPR  College of Engineering and Technology has a Student’s Grievance Redressal Committee. The Procedure of the committee is to look into the Grievances lodged by any of the students in the suggestion box. Our College Principal collects the grievances.

The genuine grievance may be chosen by the principal and handed over to the Grievance redressal cell members. The cell members discuss with the committee members about the student’s grievances. The reports may be submitted to the principal through the cell members. The action will be taken by the principal.

Scope:

  • The cell will address Grievances obtained in writing from the scholars about any of the following subjects
  • The policy applies to all students and relates to their grievances on our College campus about Academic Matters, Financial Matters, and other Matters.

Objectives:

  • To receive suggestions from the staff and students for improvement.
  • To provide the students access to immediate annoyance-free solutions to have their grievances redressed.
  • To add the honor of the college with the aid of promoting cordial Student – Student/Student – Teacher / Teacher – Teacher relationship.
  • To make certain that the perspectives of the grievant and respondent are respected and that any party to the grievance is not discriminated against or victimized.
  • To make certain a truthful, independent, and regular manner for redressal of diverse grievances lodged through the students.
  • The committee will look into the matter and shall try to redress the grievance as soon as possible.

Functions:

  • The cases are attended promptly on the receipt of return grievances from staff and students.
  • The cell reviews all cases and acts accordingly as per the policy.
  • The cell submits a report to the authority regarding the cases attended.
  • After conducting the meeting, the action taken will be done within 15 days. 

Procedures for Lodging Grievances:

  • The students can lodge their grievances by themselves in the suggestion box.
  • The students may feel free to drop their grievances by writing or to the suggestion box.
  • The Grievance cell will act upon those cases which have been forwarded along with the important files.
