ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION
NPR Arts and Science College a constituent college of NPR Group of institutions approved by Government of Tamilnadu and affiated to Madurai Kamaraj University, Madurai. This college was started in the year 2005 for realizing the urgent need for a Higher Education institution in this geographical area and keeping in mind the social responsibility of building up the youth. NPR located in a picturesque atmosphere and tranquil surroundings has state-of-the-art infrastructure and well qualified faculty. The college offers 10 Under graduate programmes and 1 postgraduate programme. The institution has produced over 4500 graduates so far.
ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT
The Department of Computer Science stamped its print in NPR Arts & Science fraternity from 2005 with the aim to develop core competence in Computer Science and prepare the students to take up challenges in research. The Department of Software, IT & BCA was started in the Academic year 2006 & 2007 respectively with the aim to develop core competence in the field of computer science and mold the students to carry out development work and to take up the challenges in research. The department is equipped with excellent laboratory facilities which provides the tools to identify problems for designing and implementation with the help of systems.The Departments are marching ahead with 650 students in PG and UG with 20 eminent faculties. The students are encouraged to do short term projects and they will have an exposure to work in team and solve the dynamic and collaborative nature of problem.
ABOUT NCDCM 2017
The NCDCM'17 is one of the most prestigious gatherings for Academicians and Research Scholars for presenting their excellent results and new challenges in the field of Computer Science and Information Technology. NCDCM'17 aims to recent academic achievements in novel techniques, developments, empirical studies, and new developments in various research fields of Computer Science. Innovative technical applications are highly encouraged. The objective of NCDCM'17is to provide a forum for scientists, engineers, and researchers to discuss and exchange their new ideas, novel results, work in progress and experience on all aspects of Data Science, Communication and Multimedia.
